Avanti Giro F1 Bicycle

The alloy 6061 hybrid frame feels lightweight and easy to maneuver through city traffic. Its sporty geometry allows riders to maintain speed without sacrificing comfort. The frame has a combination of circular and tapered tube profiles across the frame sections. This results in optimizing strength at the key joints, while minimizing weight where larger tubing is not required. The Alloy rigid fork is bladed and strong enough to handle bad roads.

The 21-Speed drivetrain on the Avanti Giro F1 is a combination of a 3-speed Shimano Tourney as the front derailleur, and a 7-speed Shimano Altus as the rear derailleur. Shifting was good across gears, with hardly any lags felt during the test ride. This gear combination is ideal and expected at this price point. The drivetrain is controlled by Shimano EF5 shifters, which were positioned well and easy to use.

The upright riding position makes the bicycle comfortable for commuting and fitness riding. Wider 700x35C tires help absorb small road vibrations and rough patches effectively. The saddle offers decent cushioning for medium-distance rides. Even without suspension, the bicycle remains stable and balanced on uneven roads. The Avanti Giro F1 comes with Alloy V- brakes. These brakes were solid in stopping power and felt balanced to use even when jamming them. The levers were also lengthy and had an easy spring action which made it possible to operate using just 2 or 3 fingers.The Alloy handlebar with a slight raise was perfect in length for a comfortable riding posture.

The Avanti Giro F1 rolls on a pair of 7x35c stock tires that are fixed on to Double walled Alloy rims. The treading and size of the tires were ideal for city commuting and long rides. The rolling resistance was fast and the tread pattern provided enough traction on wet roads as well. The stock saddle has an ergonomic shape and build to it but it could have more cushioning for better comfort.
