Emotorad Viper: A versatile electric bicycle designed to bring together everyday commuting capability, comfortable riding, and the freedom to explore beyond the city.

Design & Build: The Viper features a sturdy high-tensile steel frame paired with wide 20 x 4.0-inch tyres. The fat tyres provide a stable and planted feel on the road while also giving the bicycle the ability to handle uneven surfaces and light trail riding. The overall design has a rugged character, making it suitable for riders who want an e-bike that can be used both around the city and for recreational rides.

Motor & Battery: Power comes from a 48V 250W rear hub motor, supported by a 48V 15.6Ah removable lithium-ion battery. The removable battery makes charging more convenient, especially for riders who may not have access to a charging point near their parking area. EMotorad claims a range of up to 85 km on pedal assist and up to 70 km using the throttle, depending on riding conditions and usage.

Riding Experience: The Viper comes with five levels of pedal assist, allowing the rider to choose the amount of electric assistance required during a ride. The 7-speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain provides additional flexibility when tackling different riding conditions, while the combination of front and rear suspension helps improve comfort over bumps and uneven surfaces.

Suspension & Braking: The bicycle is equipped with a 100mm-travel double-crown front fork along with 40mm rear suspension. This setup is particularly useful when riding over broken roads, speed breakers and light trails. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors and automatic motor cut-off provide controlled braking and added safety during everyday riding.

Features & Convenience: The Viper gets a C9 colour display with NFC, providing useful riding information while adding a modern touch to the cockpit. Integrated front and rear lighting improves visibility, with the rear light also incorporating a horn. The bicycle uses a 2A charger, with a claimed charging time of approximately 6–8 hours.

Inference: The Emotorad Viper is designed for riders who want more than just a city commuter. Its wide tyres, suspension setup, 7-speed drivetrain and electric assistance make it suitable for daily urban rides while also giving riders the flexibility to enjoy weekend leisure rides and casual trails.

With its combination of a capable motor, large removable battery, comfortable suspension, wide tyres and practical features, the Viper offers a versatile electric cycling experience for riders looking to combine everyday commuting with recreational riding.
